Features to know about

Stable Handling on Every Trip: Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs

These custom-fit tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame so your camper rides low and stable. By anchoring to the strongest part of the vehicle, the load is evenly distributed across the frame instead of sitting high on the bed rails. That keeps your setup from feeling top-heavy and helps prevent sway from side winds or rough roads. The result is a smooth, confident drive that feels like you’re not even hauling a camper.

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Mounts

Each tie-down uses pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling and no need for cutting or modification. The bolt-on design makes installation simple while keeping your truck’s frame strong and intact. Because the brackets mount tight to the frame, ground clearance loss is minimal—important when you’re navigating uneven terrain or backing into a campsite.

Keep It Clean: Low-Profile Design When Not in Use

When you’re not hauling, remove the tie-down arms and the brackets are nearly invisible beneath the truck. This design keeps your vehicle looking clean and uncluttered while still being ready for the next trip. The quick-detach setup also means less time switching between hauling and everyday use.

Built Tough: Powder-Coated Steel Construction

Made of durable steel with a high-impact powder coat finish, these tie-downs hold up to weather, road grime, and years of heavy use. The finish adds an extra layer of protection against rust and wear, so your tie-downs stay strong even after long-distance hauls or harsh conditions.

Secure Connections: Adjustable Anchor Options

Each arm extends outward to clear body panels and has two pin holes for turnbuckle attachment, giving you flexibility to line up with your camper’s anchor points. This adjustability helps create balanced tension from multiple angles so your camper stays firmly in place mile after mile.

Front brackets difficult to install but doable. Works great.

by:

They were easy to install, and it only took me about an hour and half to do it. A big Plus then you move the tie down bracket you can't see the frame brackets.

by:

Great product! Fits perfect to the frame and very good quality materials. Even fit perfectly with my rock sliders.

by:

Great product. Fit is tight and holes all lined up. Fronts went on really fast. Rear brackets required drilling for my application. Brackets are sturdy and solid. All welds looked great. Definitely recommend this product.

by:

Fairly easy installation. Good instructions, but it helps to watch one of the YouTube videos first. With just the receivers, you can hardly even see them, they’re tucked underneath so well. Very sturdy. I feel very confident that no matter what, these babies will hold. They’re pricy, but well worth it.

I did a lot of research to find the right kind of frame mounts for my dads truck. Lots of local RV places didn't even know what I was looking for, or quoted me for the wrong parts. After I was certain I found the right tie downs, I contacted etrailer customer service chat representative and they were a great help at confirming the parts I found would in fact fit my dads truck. My husband and dad installed them in less than 2 hours. The parts came quickly and in excellent packaging/condition.

by:

Product arrived quickly and install was simple with supplied parts, instructions and tools.

by:

I installed these on a 2019 F250 Super Duty. The most challenging step was loosening the leaf spring nuts. Once that was done, the install was a piece of cake. Tehran not in use, they are not very noticeable. They are very sturdy and hold the camper securely. Although the entire system (w/fast guns) is a bit pricey, they are well worth it!

by:

Great experience. The man that took the order was very familiar with the Torklift Tie Downs and was able to answer all my questions.

by:

With the exception of removing the emergency brake lines. I could have done this job of mounting the front and rear mounts in under two hours, instead of three. Excellent design and looks great!

by:

Absolutely fit like a glove on our Ram truck. Disconnecting the emg. break was a challenge only because the tension nut was rusted. Other than that install was a breeze.

by:

This is the only way the tie downs fit is this a safe way to strap it down

Order the kit. This is the second set I have ordered in the last few months. etrailer ships fast and makes sure you can track your shipments. Also notifies you every step of the way. I appreciate the follow through with keeping me informed at when my package will arrive. I tried to buy these direct from the manufacture but they wanted more than etrailer and I had to find back and front sets. They did not sell them in kits.

Also glad the etrailer doesn't play the game of shipping in the lower 48 states only BS, there are 50 official states ins the USA (51 if your counting Alberta)! Plus numerous US territories...

Second set of Torklift camper tiedown brackets I have purchased. 1999 Dodge 2500 and 2016 Ram 3500. Fit good. No drilling. I would buy again. Good product. (I am a certified ASME, AWS, API, welder and fabricator). No hype, just fact.

by:

Ordered for 2025 GMC 3500HD to carry our Arctic Fox slide in camper. Kits were shipped right away and arrived in Anchorage in 5 days (as ordered). The tie downs are excellent quality, all hardware arrived with the kit, instructions were "OK", installation on rear tie downs a little tricky, but managed to do ourselves. Looking forward to some great camping adventures. Thanks for the GREAT service!

by:

They seem stout and were easy enough to install. I added my own 2” square rubber caps to the ends to keep road debris out when they’re not in use, those should be included. For $850 the packaging could use some work. They arrived all banged up, the “high impact powder coat” is worn off in several areas leaving bare steel exposed.

by:

Not a good experience so far. Torklift product was defective and they sent the wrong size bolt fish wires. Took 3x as long to install as should have due to wrong size fish wires. Torklift is not very responsive on the solution to the defective part. Torklift did not drill one of the holes in the tie downs

by:

We had a hiccup with my order and it was lost in cyberspace for a day until I called and was able to get it going. Unfortunately, I needed them by Saturday and I ordered them Wednesday. They didn't ship until Thursday afternoon and didn't arrive until Monday. The seller of the camper was kind enough to hold the camper for me, but it was touch and go there for a while.
Installing them was a challenging because the pictures in the guide were difficult to see which slowed the installation down a little. It took 2 of us about 3 hours to install them. Now that they are on the truck with the camper they seem to be working great! The only problem remaining is the front tie downs use a bolt to hold the tie down to the frame and it obstructs the passage, so it will only advance as far as the first pin making the second hole unreachable (it sticks out from the truck a few extra inches and makes the extension wobble up and down until the turnbuckle was installed).

by:

After selling previous truck camper and getting a new truck these tie downs are outstanding. The direct fit for year make model is awesome. Takes the guess work out installation. The install instructions were really good as well as etrailers videos. etrailer is the great providing product install walk thru. The adjustability of these tie downs made my life easier when I picked up my new TLRV 8 foot truck camper.

by:

Absolutely the only way to correctly attach your truck camper. Pair these white Fastguns and it’s a great combo. I just went on a 5000 mile trip with my TC and never moved an inch.

by:

I ordered this kit for my 2018 Ford F150 'Heavy Half' regular cab, long bed pickup. The tie downs came with all the necessary hardware, good instructions, were easy to install with basic tools, and required no drilling. Shipping was very fast. I would absolutely recommend TorkLift tie downs and etrailer.com.

Promise one delivery date, miss it and give another that is 3 weeks past the expected date. I had to buy a set of stake pocket tie-downs as a temporary measure. The order arrived last night (Wednesday) and I put them on this morning. The front passenger side clearance holes for the exhaust bracket were off about 1/2", so I had to redo the clearance holes. The front drivers side bracket would not bolt up because the square tube arm was inserted too far into the mounting bracket when welded, so I had to grind the excess to get clearance. I am still upset that I wasted $175 on stake pocket tie-dows because I was told the brackets would not arrive before my scheduled pickup date on our new camper.
Overall, nice people, poor system for scheduling delivery.

  • Recommended TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs For A 2004 Ford F-350
Hey Brandon, The TorkLift Tie Downs # TL93VV has the correct front tie-down, but the incorrect rear tie-down for your F-350. You would need the TorkLift # TL38PR instead. to complete the setup you'll also need some turnbuckles like the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles for Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs # TLS9529-2-LK.

  • Tie Down Recommendation for 2007 Ford F-350 and 3,400 lb Camper
Hey Alex, for your 2007 Ford F-350 single axle long bed I would go with a frame mounted tie down like the Torklift part # TL93VV which is a front and rear set confirmed to fit your truck. This will be much more secure and stable than a bed mount and has the extra capacity you'd need for the weight of your camper.

  • Is The B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatible With TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs
Hey Greg, The rear tie-downs for the TorkLift Tie Downs # TL93VV slide into the crosstube of the trailer hitch to mount. With the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25230's crosstube angling back there's a chance that the tie-downs would hit the exhaust or other components under the vehicle. Since these haven't been tested together yet I recommend going with TorkLift's aftermarket trailer hitch tie-down # TLR3500 instead. This is going to mount to the side of the # BWHDRH25230's...

  • Are Stake Pocket Tie-Downs Safe Enough To Secure A Truck Bed Camper on a 2010 Ford F-350?
I never recommend using Stake Pocket Tie-Downs # TDSF as the stake pockets on trucks are not strong enough to properly secure your camper. I only recommend using frame mounted options like the TorkLift. You would need either the Short Bed Kit # TL76DR or Long Bed Kit # TL93VV to match your bed length as long as you have the factory receiver. Please let me know if you have a different trailer hitch receiver on your 2010 Ford F-350. You will then need the Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK to easily...

  • Correct Tie-Downs for 2010 Ford F-250 With 8' Bed and Factory Hitch
Hi Larry; thank you for providing that information. The correct tie-downs will depend on your running boards. If you do not have running boards, or they are cab length, you can use the TorkLift Tie Downs # TL93VV. If you have wheel-to-wheel running boards the only frame mounted option is the HappiJac Camper Tie-Downs # LC182910-182971.

Hi Dan, By torque I assume you have TorkLift turnbuckles, and there are indeed TorkLift frame-mounted camper tie-downs you can use with those. • Are There Any Brophy Frame Mounted Camper Tie Downs for 2006 F350?
    Hey there Mark.
